Burna Boy & Masicka Headline Reggae Land Festival 2026 Opening Night

Burna Boy and Jamaican dancehall star Masicka joined forces as co-headliners for the opening night of Reggae Land Festival 2026, which kicked off on Friday, July 31, at the Milton Keynes National Bowl in the United Kingdom.

The expanded three-day festival brought together some of the biggest names in reggae, dancehall and Caribbean music, with more than 120 artists performing across seven stages throughout the weekend.

Burna Boy & Masicka Lead Opening Night

The opening night lineup featured Burna Boy, Masicka, Christopher Martin, Julian Marley & The Uprising, Solo Banton and Stylo G.

Burna Boy’s appearance added an Afrobeats crossover element to the reggae-focused festival, creating discussion among some fans about his placement on the lineup. However, the performance also highlighted the growing connection between African and Caribbean sounds on the global stage.

Masicka represented the current generation of Jamaican dancehall, continuing his international rise alongside some of the biggest names in Caribbean music.

Reggae Land Expands Into Three Days

Reggae Land Festival 2026 expanded into a three-day celebration at the Milton Keynes National Bowl, attracting a major crowd for a weekend dedicated to Caribbean culture and music.

The festival features multiple stages covering different sounds, including reggae, dancehall, dub, roots music and Caribbean-inspired performances.

Saturday’s lineup includes Beenie Man & Morgan Heritage, Tarrus Riley, Konshens, Kranium, Barrington Levy and Jah9.

The festival closes on Sunday with performances from Vybz Kartel, Shenseea, Shaggy, Super Cat, Inner Circle and Mo’ Kalamity.

Dancehall Takes Over Dedicated Stage

Dancehall remains a major part of the festival experience with a dedicated stage featuring some of the genre’s biggest names.

Artists performing across the Dancehall Stage include T.O.K., Charly Black, Stylo G, Cham, Serani and Ding Dong.

The One Love Stage highlights reggae legends such as Sanchez, Mr Vegas, Richie Spice, Ken Boothe, Jesse Royal and Alborosie.

The event also features dub and sound system showcases with names including Scientist, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Mad Professor and General Levy.

Masicka Enters Major Career Moment

Masicka’s Reggae Land appearance arrives during one of the biggest periods of his career.

The dancehall star is preparing to release his third studio album, Forever Reign, on August 14, 2026.

The following day, Masicka will make history with his first headline concert at Barclays Center in New York on August 15.

The performances mark another major step in his continued push toward becoming one of dancehall’s leading global representatives.
